Dave on his way to breakfast the next morning.  The tour buses had invaded our quiet little community.

Good stuff after a night of merry making.

I'll take two of those pies to go.  Do you have any way for me to attach those to the bike?

Hope that you can read and enjoy this.

Dave just finishing up breakfast, Chicken style.

This was our camp spot for the night.

This was the building that we slept in, and it's not quite finished yet, but we didn't mind.  It was dry, and the only game in town.

We slept upstairs, and had to navigate these stairs at night and after leaving the Chicken Creek Saloon.  We are happy to report that there were no missteps.

$150 to sleep on the floor.  That was worth every penny, Coldfingers says!

Looks like the Sheik got the upgraded suite.

Remnants of the town's mining past.

Sadly, we must leave this wonderful little town, but somehow, someway, someday, someone will probably find their way back.

On the road, which was unpaved, wet and slippery.  Forty miles of gravel, dirt and mud in the rain.

Some of us are warm and dry, and have a smile on their faces.

Dave decided that he had a great marketing plan on our way out of Chicken.

Our new friends take their first Harley ride (strapped on the back of the truck).

Ummmm....would it be OK if we turned back and spent another night at the Chicken Creek Saloon?

I guess not....off we go into the rain and fog.

Scenery from the top of the world.

A working gold mining operation.  There are still many active miners in this area.

Not everyone enjoyed the road conditions.  These two ladies got too close to the soft shoulder, and took a little side trip, and narrowly missed rolling down a 50 foot bank.

Look, the skies cleared!!!!  The road was still one big wet, muddy mess.

Check out the last outpost before the Canadian border.

The Canadian border greeted us with fog.

But it soon cleared up.

The roads were still a challenge.  Here, all four bikers thought that they were going down, but we made it without mishap.

There were ruts in the road that grabbed your tires and tried to take over.

We made it!

The end of the day, looking down on Dawson City and the Yukon River.  It was only 110 miles on the Top of the World Highway to get here, but it was on roads that many said were impassible on motorcycles.

Our mode of transportation across the Yukon River to get to town.

Ahoy sailors!

Forget the t-shirt.  The look on Dave's face says it all!

Dawson City is a charming little community, that looks like it came out of a western movie set.  Filled with wooden sidewalks, historic buildings, and of course...wireless internet.

Some of us are getting a little too close on this trip!

You guessed it...working on the internet.
